A pleasure, I’mCésar Augusto.
I believe the best way to discover a place is to feel welcomed, not simply guided.
I was born in Maracaibo, Venezuela, and chose Italy as my home. I live in Padua, close to Venice: two cities I love and that never stop surprising me.
I see myself as an artist and an art lover. I am a professional viola player, trained mainly at Venice’s Benedetto Marcello Conservatory. I love Venice and have spent years exploring its streets, getting to know it one walk at a time.
Music taught me how to listen, notice the details and convey emotion. I bring that same sensitivity to my work as a tourist guide, sharing stories, favourite places and unexpected views, along with the pleasure of discovering Italy’s food and wine traditions.
I am a licensed tourist guide in Italy, officially registered in the National Register of Tourist Guides (no. 99001449).
01 · WELCOME
The art of welcoming.
Before qualifying as a tourist guide, I worked for several years as a tour leader through Civitatis, Viator, GuruWalk and GetYourGuide, as well as on private tours. Listening to each traveller’s pace, interests and expectations shapes every visit.
02 · LISTEN
A life shaped by music.
I completed first- and second-level degrees in Viola at Venice’s Benedetto Marcello Conservatory. Collaborations with I Solisti Veneti, orchestras and chamber ensembles taught me to value detail and dialogue—the same care I bring to sharing art and history.

CONNECTIONS AND COLLABORATIONS
A friendship, a shared journey.
VivoCities
Venice · Padua · Treviso
I am part of VivoCities, where I work alongside Ernesto, a friend and fellow Venezuelan. We trained together, first as tour leaders and later as licensed tourist guides.
We began leading tours mainly in Venice, before extending our work to Padua. Ernesto also offers visits in Treviso. Our work has grown alongside our friendship, rooted in our shared background and a desire to share Italy’s stories, places and beauty.
